A Figueira Rubaiyat

The experience of having lunch or dinner under the century-old Figueira tree – which gives its name to our restaurant and is a heritage site of the city – is truly memorable. All the tables in our hall are located around its grandeur, making the perfect setting for special celebrations, milestone celebrations, unforgettable lunches and romantic dinners.

Managed by Iglesias family for three generations, Rubaiyat Group has been a great culinary benchmark for 60 years.

We are pioneers of the “farm-to-table” concept: we raise premium breeds of cattle, pork, and poultry, and our entire production is intended to supply our restaurants.

Like the other houses in the group, dishes from the menu with Mediterranean touches and fresh ingredients of the highest quality come out of the glass-enclosed kitchen, in addition to meat from the Rubaiyat Farm – according to the World's Best Steak Restaurants 2023 guide, one of the best meats in the world.

Our bar offers an excellent drink menu, special beers and a wide selection of wines from different regions of the world, which are part of our famous cellar.

On Saturdays, the house becomes an unmissable tourist spot for local and foreign visitors, offering a feast of our gastronomic heritage: feijoada.
