At Aterro do Flamengo, Assador impresses with its contemporary environment featuring stunning views of Sugarloaf Mountain and Guanabara Bay. Its multifunctional architecture includes six modular, climate-controlled spaces, a main hall accommodating up to 600 guests, parking, controlled lighting, and seamless integration between indoor and outdoor areas for corporate events.
The Assador is located in one of the most charming places in Rio de Janeiro, with a privileged view of Sugarloaf Mountain, Christ the Redeemer and Guanabara Bay, completely revitalized in accordance with the original project “Gardens of the Restaurant at Flamengo Park”, by Burle Marx.
The Roaster
Three hundred years ago, barbecue emerged in the south of the country. Assador was the one who prepared the meat, who understood the cuts, knew the materials, knives, grills, and even the best ground to stick the wooden skewers and start grilling.
Back then, barbecue was made anywhere, only by experts, who passed on their knowledge to their children and grandchildren. Since then, almost nothing has changed. We've brought the entire barbecue ritual and the ancestral knowledge of the Assador. The difference is that you can enjoy it all in one of the most charming places in Rio de Janeiro, with a privileged view of Sugarloaf Mountain.
The Assador's soul remains the same. We've only slightly changed the story that the best barbecue can be made anywhere.
