When it comes to our spaces, versatility is the watchword. Tobacco Dock offers 16,000 sqm space to play with, over two stunning levels. We have 57 spaces in an assortment of capacities that can be used individually or combined to create the ideal layout for your event. Many of our spaces boast glass frontages, streaming natural light, flexible layouts and quayside views.
Whether it's the timber beams in our ground-level spaces, exposed brick barrel-ceilinged vaults or the York stone underfoot, the rich history of the building can be read in the multitude of original features on show throughout the venue. By contrast, our technological infrastructure is about as cutting-edge as you can find, with generous WiFi provision and state-of-the-art AV installations and support.
Dock Gallery
The Dock Gallery is a self-contained 'Plug and Play' space offering straightforward event planning for up to 500 delegates.
Flooded with natural light and enjoying views of the quayside, The Dock Gallery offers stress-free planning for outstanding conferences, dinners, drinks receptions, training days, product launches or exhibitions, with DDR packages from £98 + VAT pp (based on a minimum of 120 guests). This space is completely self-contained, with its own toilet and registration facilities.
Situated on the iconic Tobacco Dock Quayside Walkway, the impressive entrance gives way to a versatile, high-specification setting for up to 250 people in a theatre style setting or 500 for reception. It can be used in tandem with the South Dock Meeting Room Suite to serve as breakouts or workshop space.
Ideal for those looking for straightforward planning for a memorable conference, dinner, awards ceremony, drinks reception or product launch, the pared-back interior makes the perfect backdrop to all your creative branding.
Great Gallery
Plan your next event in The Great Gallery, one of London’s largest spaces for conferences and dinners. Exposed, listed timber beams and brickwork makes this space a beautiful backdrop for a wide variety of events.
The breath-taking Great Gallery is an expansive and flexible space filled with period details. It can be adapted to accommodate a range of events including awards, receptions, conference plenary sessions, dinners and fashion shows.
It is fully equipped with advanced rigging, lighting and PA systems and provides a characterful blank canvas for a multitude of styling and branding opportunities. Exposed timber beams hang overhead, creating a beautiful and stylish atmosphere. Guests can also make use of the adjacent Great Gallery Courtyard, a beautiful outdoor area, perfect for receptions.
All Great Gallery bookings include the use of GGA, an adjacent space ideal for use as back of house or green room. This space benefits from LED room wash (ProLight EclPanel TWCJr) and lighting controller (Anytronics Anyscene 512).
Little Gallery
The second largest space at Tobacco Dock, Little Gallery is a large and characterful space ideal for conferences, exhibitions, awards, dinners and consumer shows.
The second largest space at Tobacco Dock, the Little Gallery is a beautiful and high capacity space with stunning exposed beams and flooded with natural daylight.
Suitable for up to 1120 people in reception style and connected to the Great Gallery via the Great Gallery Courtyard, this space is great for networking drinks, as an exhibition space to main plenary or used in conjunction with East Mall as the main hub for conferencing.
Located at the centre of the building, the Little Gallery is ideally placed to be used in combination with the other spaces within the venue.
Quayside 1 and 2
Quayside 1 and 2 provide airy and attractive space for a range of events and are accessible from the cobbled Quayside Walkway. Their exposed brickwork and timber beams make an effective backdrop for all your creative branding and theming.
Quayside 1 and 2 are situated directly off our cobbled Quayside Walkway, with entrance through our iconic main gates.
Quayside 1 is our third largest space, featuring exposed timber beams and streaming natural light. Its position just off the Quayside Walkway makes it an ideal registration area for a larger event. It’s also fantastic for use as a reception space, large breakout or exhibition space within a multi-space conference.
Quayside 2 works perfectly as a breakout space or in conjunction with Quayside 1 for larger events. Its location also makes this flexible space ideal for use as a cloakroom or back of house service area for Quayside Breakouts.
East Mall
East Mall is on our ground level and offers stunning, airy spaces with plenty of natural light and original features.
East Mall is comprised of East Mall Square and 6 adaptable spaces from 68 sqm - 380 sqm. East Mall can be used for a stand-alone conference or exhibition for up to 350 people, or in combination with the Great and Little Galleries for larger events offering breakouts and networking areas. Ideal for training days, the spaces can easily serve as individual training rooms

Quayside Breakouts
Quayside Breakouts are versatile and impressive, with direct access onto our cobbled Quayside Walkway and benefitting from entry through our iconic gates.

North Dock
Three interconnected, atmospheric spaces giving onto the North Bandstand, ideal for conferences, product launches and exhibitions.
Spanning three inter-connected spaces, North Dock has stunning vaulted ceilings as well as access to the North Bandstand. This space offers a memorable and high-spec space for exhibitions, corporate parties, experiential events and conferences. Benefitting from environmental control, self-contained washrooms and feature up-lighting, North Dock provides an atmospheric setting for your next event.
North Vaults
The North Vaults at Tobacco Dock are made up of 7 individual spaces which can be used individually or in combination. Immensely characterful and brimming with original features, this area of the venue is atmospheric and versatile.
Ranging in capacity from 25 - 640, the North Vaults can be used independently or in combination depending upon your requirements. Barrel ceilinged with exposed brickwork they make an interesting and characterful backdrop to your event, as well as providing a blank canvas for branding and theming.

The newest of our spaces here at Tobacco Dock, East Dock comprises 5 fully furnished spaces, ideal for easy conference planning, training days and press briefings.
This collection of spaces is ideal for straightforward and impressive event planning for groups of up to 200 people. Ranging in capacity from 6 to 50 people in a boardroom, cabaret or theatre style layout, the spaces at East Dock offer the perfect venue for your next business gathering. East Dock 3 serves perfectly as a reception space, with registration desks, catering stations, poser tables, and cloakroom facilities.
The vaulted Victorian brickwork interiors create an atmospheric and stylish backdrop, while the speedy and secure WiFi connection and top-of-the-range screens will keep up with the most demanding of briefs.

East Dock Meeting Suite
The East Dock Meeting Suite is a collection of 4 bright meeting rooms all giving onto a shared lounge and kitchen space. This suite also works very well for conference breakout, office or interview space when used in conjunction with The Dock Gallery or East Dock.

South Dock Meeting Suite
Four stylish meeting rooms arranged around a central lounge area, available for individual hire or as a whole, it also works well in combination with The Dock Gallery to serve as breakout and workshop space. The adjacent Dock Street Bar provides the perfect setting for after-parties and networking.
These flexible and elegant meeting rooms can be hired individually or as an entire suite for training days, presentations or conferences.
The South Dock Meeting Room Suite is comprised of four meeting rooms giving onto a stylish and spacious lounge. This is ideal to use alone or as part of a package with the nearby Dock Gallery or East Dock to provide breakout, workshop or interview space.

Our award-winning in-house catering team, Tobacco Dock Food, creates varied and delicious menus to suit every sort of gathering, from networking drinks receptions to formal banqueting to conference buffet lunches.

The Rooftop
Take your summer party to new heights with a celebration up at our beautiful rooftop bar. Treat your guests to some of London's best views and most imaginative mixology, and throw a little competition into the mix with croquet and pétanque.
The Rooftop at Tobacco Dock is an urban lawn club complete with croquet lawns, pétanque courts, and ping pong tables. Unlike many rooftop venues, we're lucky enough to benefit from 360º views, including the distinctive financial district's skyline, which is just at the perfect angle to provide some rather spectacular sunset photo opportunities.
We've plenty of covered seating areas, so there's no panic if the weather isn't in the party mood. We even have two croquet lawns on our lower level, so rain needn't stop play! Guests can socialise at our well-placed long tables, or settle down in our garden booths and day beds on the upper level.
