Offering a variety of function rooms in different sizes, food and beverage experiences and activities to choose from, a meeting or event at Grand Hotel Oslo is like no other, and the hotel’s unique atmosphere can be felt the moment you step into its lobby.

Rococo

Rococo is considered one of the most beautiful and unique banquet halls in Norway, with its classic ceiling painting, authentic Italian silk tapestry and shimmering Venetian chandeliers.

This stunning ballroom can accommodate up to several hundred guests, depending on whether one is hosting a dinner, conference or a standing reception. Rococo can seat up to 290 guests in a conference set up, 224 for a banquet or 350 for a reception.

The Mirror Room

Our banquet hall, The Mirror Room, has glittering chandeliers, intricate details and a historical buzz.

This elegant banquet hall can accommodate over a hundred guests, and is the perfect venue to host dinners, conferences or standing receptions. The Mirror Room can seat up to 142 guests in a classroom set up, or up to 200 guests in theater style setting. For larger events, the Mirror Room can be combined with the Rococo ballroom just across the hall.

Gerhardsen

Gerhardsen is the largest meeting room in our conference area.

Gerhardsen allows for a flexible layout and can seat up to 110 guests in a theater set up. The meeting room is equipped with both technical and AV facilities and can be set up according to one’s needs and requests, be it a seminar, team building meeting or hybrid meeting.

Hambro

Hambro is a meeting room suitable for medium to large sized groups.

Hambro allows for flexibility with regards to set up, and can seat up to 70 guests in theater style or 50 guests in a classroom set up.

Julius Fritzner

Elegant meeting room with space for up to 59 guests.

This very pleasant venue has gone from being one of Oslo's first gourmet restaurants, to becoming an elegant meeting room. The room can be used in classroom layouts, with round tables in banquet layouts and is suitable for conferences, meetings, press conferences and the like. Fritzner is decorated with works of art by the Norwegian visual artist Vibeke Slyngstad.

The Lounges

Smaller, intricate lounges suitable for intimate dinners, receptions and events.

Grand Hotel Oslo is equipped with rooms for all occasions. The Lounges consist of three separate rooms, the King, Queen and Champagne rooms. Each with its own distinct character, intricate details, stunning chandeliers and sconces, delicate wallpaper and world-renowned pieces of art. These function rooms are ideal for dinners, receptions and other intimate events.

Michelsen

Michelsen is an elegant and airy meeting room which seats up to 14 guests.

Michelsen is equipped with a long board table and has large windows facing outwards. The room is perfect for board, management or departmental meetings, among others. This meeting room is accessed directly from our foyer.

Konow

Konow is a spacious meeting room that can seat up to 10 guests.

This meeting room is furnished with a long board table and presents the perfect set up for board meetings, management consultations, negotiations and smaller more intimate gatherings. Konow is also equipped with a comfortable corner sofa where one can have information conversations over a cup of coffee. This meeting room can be accessed directly from our foyer.

Sverdrup

Sverdrup is a meeting room that can seat up to 8 guests.

This meeting room is furnished with a large round table, perfect for management meetings, departmental meetings and group break out rooms. Sverdrup is both airy and has large windows, and is fully equipped with modern AV equipment. This meeting room can be accessed directly from our foyer.

Stang

Stang is one of our smaller meeting rooms suitable for up to 5 guests.

Stang is suitable for smaller meetings, interviews or as an intimate group room. This function room is airy with large windows facing Karl Johans street. Installed with modern AV equipment, Stang can be accessed directly from our main foyer.
